Background
I studied photography and project management at the Savannah College of Art and Design beginning in 2016 — college was comprised of four years that shaped both my craft and the way I think. In 2019, I lived and studied at the SCAD campus in France, where I fell in love with light more deeply than ever before and found rhythm in the slow, intentional pace of the Luberon Valley. After that, I moved to Ireland for a season — where I learned to live with and for the land, formed fast friendships, and developed a deep appreciation for working hard and playing harder.
In 2020, I found myself back in the States — graduating into uncertainty and settling just outside of Atlanta. I’ve spent the past five years balancing a successful professional career in project management and building a creative life.
Today, in addition to my full time job, I own and operate two volunteer-led equine organizations, I paint portraits of pets, and create commissioned paintings of homes, barns, and buildings that hold personal history. I sew quilts for my friends’ children, remodel my home one task at a time, and cherish my hours with the people I love. I’ve photographed more than a dozen weddings — always with the hope of capturing something honest and unrepeatable. I design, I cook, I write, and I keep chasing the feeling of making something that matters.
My work lives somewhere between the practical and the poetic, and I feel most like myself when I’m honoring memory, building something thoughtful, or sharing a piece of the place that shaped me.
